Lecteur de bandes dessinées

Pour nos amis francophones et francophiles, un petit billet en français ! !

Si vous chercher un lecteur de bande dessinées, epub et autres formats de publication électronique, je vous invite à tester mes 2 versions de CBR, pour le bureau (desktop) ou pour Windows 8 metro (version tuile, appelée WinRT). Descriptions et liens ci-dessous.

CBR.Desktop : Supporte tous les Windows en x86 ou x64 avec des fonctionnalités plus étendues que son petit frère. Mais ils devraient être amenés à communiquer bientôt pour un échange et partage de données.

CBR.WinRT : Supporte Windows 8 et tous les processeurs. Fonctionnera donc sur votre PC ou votre tablette. Il ne gère pour l’instant que les formats « Comics », pas les livres aux formats ePUB et autres. Il est disponible à travers le Windows Store en période d’essai gratuite ou pour la vie en contrepartie d’une modeste contribution nécessaire à la survie de ces 2 programmes.

Windows 8 on ACER Laptop

I had two problems, and no real solution…

1. MS ACPI disappear, means no icon for battery level

Solution : open Device Manager and make scan on “Batteries”

1. A high HDD activity and led blinking

Solution : an internet forum gave me a workaround: disable the pioneer DVD in the Device Manager

if you get any solution, please let me know !!

CBR 1.1 is under certification and will be published soon. It takes all the reviews into account and add more features :

Goto page
Offline mode
Bookmark and automatic restore
Double-tap for page change
Zoom on pinch and stretch gestures
Adjust Width/Height
“Recursive” folder parsing

And a lot of internal improvements…Note that I had lot of trouble reading the files, discovering the covers….but now CBR must be capable of reading 99% of your books or it means you owns very special formats…
